Hey guys fished leonards bay palm springs yesterday lunch time till late apon arrival we tried for blues no luck decided to move onto the point and try for cobbies it was very quiet soooooo rigged up sharky and slid a frigate front half out then decided to try for a livie with the dropshot rod I didn't even get a hook tied on when zzzzzzzzzzzzz there she goes run to the stick tighten up and vasss she's going out about 80 meters later and circle pulls ?! Jees how ? Felt like a really good fish drag was tight . Anyways hook up the back half of the frigate and send it out went back to tie that hook on and zzzzzzzzzzz run grab stick tighten up and vasss couple of short 30 meter runs and after a nice controlled fight I get this lady 12.0 circle in the scissors

Ok on the board one beeeut sweetie now my swaer is exited.so rig him up and we wait decide to try for a livie again and succeed this time 2 stripies on sand silvie so out goes the silvie wanted to keep the others for cobbie later just get it out and my swaer goes tight with this lovely swim bait size grey

So anyway I don't have the necessary hardware with and we let it go . A little while later my silvie gets hammered but no hook up bring it in and there's six mil wide puncture marks right across and its dead . Blunt man . So I slide out a half mackie and about 30 minutes later zzzzzzzzz pick up and vass this gives me a good rev m I think it must be a smoothie no spots and soft skin ??

My swaer gets another nice swimmer and sadly we let it go now I'm really miffed I didn't bring at least one big trace . Anyway we did actually come for cob so I slide out stripy 1 and he gets nailed of the hooks slide stripy 2 and same thing really blunt hey we try a bit longer for cob nada zip 1 dorrie so we called it quits ant took of huistoe . Ill be back with more bait and a bigger trace special for dem swimmer I know there's big rags there and I want one @ abbaddon I nearly got spooled there in jan on a big mullet lucky ? My leader not popped on full drag with maybe 20 turns left wew close anyway that's it chaps
