hey guys was down in the baan last weekend 9th and 10th for alittle fishing trip, organised to get show on a boat with the white stump professor Clive wow this man knows what was cooking, no fish finder or gps hes very old school and for R400.00 pp for a 15hr trip what a bargin anyway to the fishing, started alittle slow sat evening only launched around 5:30pm and headed strait for the line as i really wanted a shad or two , i opened my account with a big steentjie which we released then my boet a clive started climbing into the shad nothing big thought just making size but we only keep 3 rond 10-11ish the wind picks up and we head back and plan to meet back round 2am., get back on the water and again head strait for the line and start looking for shad, my boet sends down a prawn a goes tight with a decent so i decide to put a prawn down...then i got TIGHT and line peels of my little shimano at a 100km/h.. first thing that comes to mind is Steam train fight goes on for 5mins then it comes broad side..dam thats a big stump! 2kgs my new pb, i landed another good one of 1.64kgs and my boet gets a 1.1kg blacktail..here us with Clive the stump Professor
