LANGEBAAN PARKSBOARD FISHING PERMITS

My friend and I recently got our new Kazkazi dorados and we beleive that you need to get a permit from Parksboard in Langebaan. Does anyone have any info or contact details for us?

As far as I know, All you need is the standard fishing permit as well as the fishing from a vessel permit that is obtainable from the local post office.

But considering the amount of pressure the lagoon sees each year, I can understand them wanting to introduce a new fishing permit for that area exclusively.

They are open until 16h00, you must take all your required permits for your vessel, and your ID, then you must buy one for the parks board. I think I paid R300.00 for a years permit, they are also open on weekends.  I hope this helps..........:fishn

Think it's only when fishing from a boat. Breede river has the same type of extra permit if you fish from a boat.

I haven't heard anything about having to have a permit like that and somebody fished langebaan last weekend from the kayak.Might just be save to phone them and somma report back to us, but make sure you tell them you are fishing from a kayak.

Thanks guys. It is just I heard from some of my clients that the guys from parksboard in Lagebaan is on a "authority rush" and is giving some kayakers  kak on the water.I phoned them four times yesterday and left messages, but no result yet.Dis darem donners lekker om vir die goverment te werk?

I just got hold of Pierre at Parksboard in Langebaan.You do not need to get a parksboard permit for a kayak, but obviously you need your fishing permits so Rudolf you were spot on.

I am building my own two-man canoe, would the same apply to that (fishing permit for vessel and per person on the vessel)? It will noy be motor-driven.
