Landy disco 1 v8 motor change

I am looking at puting a smaller more economical mator in the disco 1.
It has a V8i at the moment.
Any suggetions and maybe who does it,cost?

Cant be worth it, surely! Is the motor poked?

Fit a Lexus V8 with auto box. You can buy them complete for about R7,5k.

Just looking at getting a better  consumption.

But you can buy a lot of fuel with say R10k.

What motor do you have at the moment? Is it a Landy motor?
