Congrads Steve. Not bad at all for A short session! What hours of the day were you fishing? Did you target the shallows?

09H00 - 13H00, Yes I did target the shallows but I put the platties out just beyond this, 12h00-13h00 was dead, not even a nibble, 4 hours goes by pretty quickly, the trick is to try and exploit the time as best as possible. I might try an afternoon session on Sunday say 12h00 - 17h00.

I have packed my van, the "Fish-Mobile"so that all I have to do is put the rods on the roof, time is precious with short sessions.

Steve your right, for short sessions it helps A lot to have all your things in order, no time for packing and unpacking. Everything should be ready and in place when you get there and when you want to leave, good stuff. The extra 20mins might get you that big one.

Great stuff Steve. And yes you will struggle to catch Cats mid day (12 o'clock) but then you can target shady areas where the over hanging trees makes shade on the water. This can be very accelerating especially if you do it with Art Lures.
