Well, next thing to becoming a great fisherman,is to become a great florist.

I forsee every fisherman in CT to be growing lillies now to monitor the VARK ORE,now that the secret's out of the bag.

Probably me too in the quest for catching fish, hahaha!

BIG SAVINGS on PETROL,too.

Cheers!

Drove on Baden Powell this afternoon 15h00, the water looked good, there were 4 vehicles parked at bird sanctuary, wonder what the guys were targetting, gallie or kob or perhaps steenbras or belman? would love to fish that area again but only in numbers and with someone dropping us off.

The numbers we can do, but who wil drop and pick us up? think we must look into a shuttle service, we can call it the bird sanctuary and swartklip shutttle service.:::S

If it's during the day & during the week,I'm in.

I've seen guys regularly standing on the verge of the road there, holding nice size Gallies aloft trying to sell to drivers coming past.

Hi Alwyn ! Was there perhaps a red Uno parked there as well? I know it would be a bit difficult to see the cars, driving at 100km/h !! LOL ! The guys are targeting Steenie down there... Last year we walked from Mnandi to Bird sanctuary! What a way to explore that "virgin" part of the coast ! We fished every hole we came across ! No pun intended ! LOL !  Some nice Cob and in-eds came out...

Dont think there was an uno, three white vehicles and one dark, blue or grey.
Walt, i have seen those guys selling galjoen and kob there, not this year but in the past 4yrs i have seen them quite often, no vehicle so they probably live within walking distance or get dropped off there.

i didnt see a red UNo ther i saw a red or yellow opel , some nice Baardman was caught at Mnandi on Monday .

We went down yesterday , water very cold , only saw a nice Gallie came out , and missed a nice fish , that took line .

The strange thing about the varkore is that they are earky this year , according to my records of previous years they only start to flower early August , i do get the idea that the kob is full up , but ouside casting range , most of the nice fish are coming out at night ,when i reckon they come a bit into the shallows . Hopefully we will have a bumber Kob season this year like we had last year !

anyway , i am a bit dissapointed about the fishing yesterday , and are gonna wait till it warms uop a lil , the glass is also very high ..

anyway guys ! tight lines !!!!!!
