Knysna Lagoon fishing HOT spots

Hi

I'm planning on renting a house boat early March on the Knysna Lagoon. Are any of you willing to share some hot spots and what can be caught at the various spots?

Kwaga, I suggest you do a search on the forum. Fishing the Knysna lagoon has been discussed previously and there is some good info. There are leeries, cob and grunters around as well as some big sharks. As there are a lot of juvenile leeries around, I would encourage the use circle hooks and to practice catch and release. i am also going to the K- lagoon in Jan 2010 renting a house boat, and heard that at the bridge incoming from Cape Town is a good spot to fish and trawl!?

hey Fish near the train bridge. I caught nine leeries there this december. Use a white or silver coloured lure for dropshot...4-5inch minnow..and do not use the expensive stuff..caught all mine on the cheap lures. Best time is early morning from 5:30am to about 8am..goodluck
