Klipdrift today

I thought I would take my son out for a bit of winter carping at Klipdrift today. Nada! Not even a line bite. Tried every dip, mielie, floatie, worm etc. Nothing!!! Weather was okay up until about 11h00, then the wind started pumping. Had to push the boat into the reeds to get some shelter. Tried till 14h00 but to no avail. Still beat sitting at home. At least the boat batteries got a bit of a charge. Anyone else have any luck today?

Hey Richard At least you were out there....
I was hoping to hit the water today but the weather forcast showed a pushing cold front - so I thought this may just put the fish down - So I did not hit the water - off to Kloofzicht in the AM to try and target some big carp on fly - so I hope they biting tomorrow
