I've booked a 5 day session at KKP mid April.

My plan is to fish this session exclusivly with boilies.

We will be 2 people fishing 3 rods each, planning on taking 10kg of boilies per rod for the session, which means 60kg.

Planning on rolling 30kg of home mades, which will be 10kg high attractor birdfood, 10kg balanced fishmeal and 10kg milk protein boilies.

Now the other 30kg I would like to use a South African boilie manufactures bait.

Has anyone had success on any SA boilies bait supplier at KKP whether it be GT, MCT, Specimen or whoever makes a proper boilie.

Would like to hear your input.

Please dont let this become a mud slinging contest... If you had success then post a pic and the bait companies name and boilie...

Your plan is flawed.

Biggest flaw of all is to go there with 5 or 6 baits without pre-feeding any of it. That will be a waste of money.

Barbel also like variety. If there are barbel issues and you feed 5 different baits, you will mostly be feeding barbel for 5 days.

no pre-feeding + multiple baits + barbel issues = Disaster

I would stick with one boilie. Its a tough challenge but its worth a go. Problem is it might take 2-3 days for the baited spot to start producing and yeah the barbel might become an issue... Still, its worth the risk if you want to only fish with boilies.

Pre feeding is definately a problem seeing that the venue is 400+km away.

What would you suggest then please...

If you cant pre feed it might be better to spend a couple of hours (dont be shy to spend the whole day) feature finding when you get there and find possible big carp routes and target these areas with mouse trap and a couple of boilies. It might be worth it to target at least 6 different spots, moving your rods around once in a while (24 hours or so). If you can find out from others where productive spots are before the time it will help.
