To "Mr" Kitefisher and the other experts

why not do us a article on all the ins and outs of kitefishing with all the need to haves and don't needs ?

It will save us all alot of searching and the buying of the wrong equipment !

I would suggest sticking to locally made products and easily available products if possible.

I for one will appreciate it !

So what say u ?

Neil im no expert here neither, but gleaned a little here and there from the internet. I would say go to mullers kites (www.mullerskitefishing.com) as he has the kite and the ferry all in one, so theres no chopping and changing equipment. Following that, its just dogf...ck. Im paired to any old rod for the moment and will be flying to the backline as soon as time allows.

A good site with lotsa info is: www.fishingkites.co.nz

Spoke to the proprieter at Fishermans Warehouse in Durban, the KP 10 1/2" can be ordered with a fitted drag system. Just someting to bear in mind, if one decides to utilise the KP as a kite reel.

THERE .

All thanks to ONE SIMPLE little Item - that , is Kite fishing , in a Nutshell.

I Say This because Psy has the Technical and Gadget Crazy Version.

On My Tight Budget of 6 Million ZIm $ , ThIS would Be all you would Need to Get started , and a REAL pal . Someone Has to let your line out while you simultaneously Let out line on the Kite .

But Man oh Man - when you see how Far out it can go .................

I'm already dreaming of whole Mackie's Landing Behind the Breaker line here at Hartenbos !!!!!!
