Thanks Mr Zippo, I see you are from Durban, any idea where I can legally dropshot in the Durban harbour from the side? I saw your thread on Grunter, u got those nice fish on the banks I presume off a kayak ?

howzit yeah i fish off a ski.i see a few guys throwing dropshots on the banks at low tide were they cast into deeper water also the round bush area is good another place is bat centre but the pier can get crowded hope that helps

Is winter not the best time to drop shot? I have been messing around here in Richards bay and having success catching shad, but i really want to get a hold of some other species, kingies being on top of the list...
