Shad has been wild in front of the caravan park.On the flip side Kelso +-700M away has been dead as a graveyard.Also pennington has also been producing shad but you would have to go right around since the bridge is being repaired.Although there is no garrick or any other gamefish,maybe that's why the shad stick around all day.I suggest you fish the bay and surrounding area's immediately in front of the caravan park.

Kelso, Happy Wanderes is my second home. Ive been fishing there for many years now. Of late every weekend, Shad are plenty, mainly in the bay, left of the flat rock, drift bait and small spoon has been producing some good shad!!!
Last year this time, I got 2 nice size Garrick just in front of the main swimming pool area. Live Shad was the answer and only about 40 meters out into high water at 11 am, it was an awesome!!!!
