Hi guys.

I'm wanting to give kayak fishing a bash. Looking for a good second hand fishing kayak to purchase any help will be must appreciated.

I'm based in CT.

Gumtree would be your best bet.
Just watch out for guys advertising normal kayaks for fishing where they added one or 2 rod holders. Fishing kayak must have a fish and dry hatch.

The starting budget for a kayak alone must be about R6000. There is bargains but they are few.

Ive been checking gumtree but im always to slow these things get sold so quickly. lol

Ive done some research and im keen on the Stealth Supalite.

Just a heads up, be sure check the hull and joins for: dents, cracks and shoddy repairs before you buy (Best would be to arrange a paddle test if you can). Particularly fiberglass craft, you might come across someone trying to ditch a damaged craft and the last thing you want to end up with is a craft that takes on water.
