I'm going down to Port Edward from 2022/03/14 for 10 days. I've never fished at Splash Rock. Is it possible to fish for Karanteen close to Splash rock. Want it to slide a live bait.
A karenteen is quite a small fish. If you pin it between the eyes with a cable tie, and then cable tie it to the hook, it casts quite streamline, and you may not need to deal with the complexities of sliding it.
Karanteen are all over the coast there, just look for the cleanwater against the rocks and chum them up..You will have to get your little bait under the mullet though to get to the streepies.
