Kalk bay area

Hey everyone, wanting to take the little guy to throw a line off some rocks, anyone know of a safe place between Kalk Bay and Simonstown? And what species and bait should we use. I was thinking prawn and chokka?

Any suggestions/advise will be appreciated.

Try Sunnycove .....small strips of chokka should be sufficient

The rocks near the wreck just before simons produce reasonably good hotties ,streepies and so on, good fun for the kids. Even casting from the beach towards the wreck works.

my brue the best that i have done with my son was by using lekke sand prauwns.You will have less mess

Prawn could be pumped at muizenberg beach where the river goes into the sea.
