Was just kidding about the pink trick worm........and there is a trick to that place.... natural coloured tubes fished with a small split shot,,, then dead stik it right up against the reeds while giving it a twitch now and then...just watch your line all the time, the bites are quite shy.....leave your chatter , buzz, crank, spinner BAITs at home all they do is scare the fish away in that pond OH and dont walk up so close to the water, alot of bass are right up against the edge....

Hi Guys

I was there this morning from about 08h30.

I tried everything, nothing.

Then I rigged the chatterbait :fishn

I caught 7 of these sizes in the foto below.

Those little fish slaughtered that chatterbait, lol, the bait is about half the size of the fish but they still nailed it.

All I can say is "Chatterbaits FTW"

Oh, yes.

I caught all the fish in the last 45 minutes I was there.

None the less, Its not an ideal fishing spot but it still beats being at work.

What do you guys do to be able to fish in the week?

I am an OPS manager for a well known courier company. One week I start at 12h00 and the next at 06h00 on the morning.

This means that I get to fish quite a lot but only for short periods of time, 3.5 to 4 hours at most.

I definatly need more flexi time. Working 5 days a week from 05:30 to 7:00 sucks

Yeah, I know the feeling, very soon I am moving into logistics so my work hours will also change to 08h00 to 17h00.

The reason I say this venue is not ideal is for the mere fact that there are too many cars and people passing at any given moment. It just don't feel like one is close to nature.

The chatterbait I used was chartruse(spelling)and black.
