Just bought a boat..got skippers...seaworthy....fishing lisence.

Now i want to do some trolling in and around St Francis.....what lures can i use???

please help

do a search and youll find a topic on targetting yellowtail and get some of those lures trawl from harbour up to point for garrick and yellowtail.

Aquadementia, u troll sfb or just dropshot and jig??

Fishing St Francis then get some Halco's. Not the Tremblers but the Laser Pro's. Those work very well off the point near the "Shack". Troll that area just off the reef drop off. These lures work well also off PE waters, Rey Banks and Bird Island. Also get some 3 and 4 ounce plugs. These you can put behind the boat aswell when trolling, Yellowtail may hit the surface lure quicker than the swimming lure. Also drift off the point, calm sea, and throw plugs and spoons up against the side and retrieve back. Had great results like that. Try these view steps then you can start experimenting with different lures and depths. I am sure you will get some great fish. We have landed Yellowtail there in the 15 kg + region.
