What lures should I use? Silversides will probably take a small hook with powerbait (24?) and mullet I have no clue? If I get to fish the lagoons what lure would you advice me to use as a good allrounder?

ja silversides same as DT, maybe try a 30
mullet eat plankton off the surface, or algae off the bottom... definitely catchable on fly but your best bet with them is to chum a lot with mashed sardine mixed with bread or sand then try dip them with a small white curly.

good all rounder for things like shad, kob and garrick will be soft plastics or bucktail jigs... you have to use a leader, preferably fluoro but clear mono will work... 15lb should be fine but just check for wear after catching a fish

I think I will rather fish for the predators as chumming the water seems like a hassle. What technique do you fish for the jig or plastics and what plastics would I need. What setup will work for this kind of fishing? Medium heavy setup with 30lb braid and a 2500 Shimano koffiegrinder?

true but chumming the water gets hordes of fish in to you within minutes....

na we use 30lb for sharks, you can use 8lb with a 2500 grinder :)

soft plastics like the new mcarthy 4inch paddletails will be perfect

Cheers
