a few years back on a fishing show a guy fished it below an stroomversnelling, got some barbel and yellows of what i can remember. He fly fished. Mostly when somebody fishes a little river and gets a good spot, they tend to keep it quiet.
ja i suppose i would do the same....
seems like a very shallow piece of water, the stretches i have seen anyway, that said it seems to be full of rubbish along the banks mostly. suppose safety would be an issue to most areas except for where the river runs through complexes like in daifern... cheers unlimited.
i think the jukskei closer down to the hennops and crocodile will have some nice fishing, but those grounds are all private farms. I would still give it a shot ona three strike basis.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality of fish in the magaliesriver and have since fished it regulary during the winter months.
i am a bit new to the gauteng province and still trying to settle and find find a good peice of water... time is also an issue in this rat race.
What do you catch in the magaliesriver?
i have only been able to hook cats and carp, but there is smallscale and largescale yellows and bass. Have heard there may be some kruper and trout too
