Depending on how far you want to walk and carry your gear? Most important take note of wind/swell conditions, if you drive to the parking lot (the one towards Cape town - cannot remember the name.... there's a tidal pool) On a relative flat/calm day providing the vis is good you'll find M/Cracker and an array of other species out on the reefs. Beware, very dangerous when it's rough!
You can also try the area at the camp - behind the 2 tidal pools (big one, then you get a smaller one behind the big one) - I was taught and schooled on spearfishing in this area more 30 years ago (8 years old).....when I did not believe in sharks LOL....
You do get Y/tails coming into the bay certains times of the year.
