I have a 1981 Johnson 60HP 2 Cylinder electric start on my Rubber Duck, I have now synced the carbs checked the Floats, I'm sure the timing and advance is right but it still feels under powered to me.
I've yet to change the spark plugs, will do this before I use the boat again, however she doesn't bog down or misfire or do anything untoward.
I have found that the jets are as per the service manual the ones for sea level. says I should go down to a Size 53
do the highveld guys rejet their outboards to work up here?
