Hi Guys

There is nice camping facilities along the dam with normally clean ablution blocks (hot and cold clean water). I will find out what the cost is for camping but normally is it very cheap.

Hi Guys The cost to enter the dam and to camp as follow:

Car entrance R45 for 5 persons, R65 for 8 persons.

Boat ,trailer, tent R25 and caravan R55

I have checked the ablutions yesterday, there is showers and toilets and it was clean.

Please check to drive slowly the last k to the dam as it has been hit by 1000 potholes.

Hi Guys

The plans are all together for the comp and social.

The friendly fishing comp will start at 07h00 on Saturday morning. All freshwater fish are liable for prizes as we will have prizes for different species. All fish must be weighed in alive. We will have a boat roaming the dam to weigh in fish so that the jetski guys do not have to keep the fish a long time in a keep net. Entry fee: R1.00

Final weigh in at 11h00 at tent at launching site.

Meeting will commence at 12h00 and thereafter will there be fires available to braai.

You can also do seaworthy of boats and jetskis during the morning. Please let us know if you want to do seaworthy as we need to let the SAMSA officer know to bring the correct amount of papers. Remember your buoyancy certificate for your vessel.

Remember to bring chairs and food and drinks. I will take out a couple of tables.
