It would seem that Bass fishing is not going to be very productive this weekend... I think I'll be staring at my TV screen a bit this weekend.

Anyone here disagree with me?

I think that the fish will bite nicely if you can get some fishing done before the weekend rain sets in. Maybe on friday or so because i think they said it's gonna rain on sat and sun.

who knows

SOunds like you are a "Fair-weather" fisherman........LOL
I'll admit, I dont like fishing when it's pissing no. I dont mind cold all that much, as long as I dont need to be in my tube.....

It's just in my experience that when the weather suddenly turns for the worse, finding a pattern and catching Bass is impossible.

I'd love to know what patterns to look for in sudden bad weather though?

down size and slow down. i don't have the patience but dead sticking apparently works.

This is where fishing with a trap stick helps.

Gooi it out and put it down on the deck and fish with a second rod every now and then give it a tweak etc - invaribly you will pick something up - PS. illegal in comps (bass comps that is)

Basically a 2nd rod (normal set up) left on the deck of the boat - In Artlure Trapsticking is leagal even in comps provided the lure is moving - is is a very effective and leathal method. Chuck out a plastic whilist you move round on the trolling motor and you cover a whole herd more water with 2 sticks.....Hope it makes sense?

I do this allot on my tube, asspecialy in basslake.but you need to be careful sometimes, youll get a bite and when you wanna strkie you need to put down your other stick and pick the other one up to strike and then sometimes the fish is already off...but ja does work like a bomb...worked evertime at basslake.
