What colours are the ones I should tock up on for Bass lake for next week Friday?

And now you need to be quick, quick enough so that I can buy them on Sat or Mon as I don't think I'll be able to take an extended lunch anytime next week on the three remaining days?

Anything natural color. Baby bass is a very good color as they mostly feed on smaller bass or silver. But try and stick to natural colors as the water there are really clean

Man I'm sorry I mean Sunday, hey I need to go fishing so bad, we're going to her B-party at 16:00 on Sat and lure shopping for the Kid in the morning, BUT SUNDAY we're going to Roodeplaat, Sorry, my heads somewhere in the water again....

Ok so it is set. All my fishing gear is packet and sorted.  LGF is picking me up at 5:30 tomorrow morning then we off. That status of Basslake today.

Water Temp: 20 Degrees

Water Temp at 9 meters: 19 Degrees

Water Temp at 18 meters: 17 Degrees

Thermo line Temp is at 5 to 6 Meters and the temp is 17 Degrees

Visibility is 6 Meters 

So guys it’s off for some seriously large LGF hunting

There are MUNSTAS in them those waters over yonder, funny thing is them MUNSTAS are just lure watching at the moment.

I landed/boated about 3 or 4 small LGF's, weighed one an dit came in around 240grams, but the big ones, well they were sitting on the bottom having a cold one chatting to some freinds and neighbours until about 14:00, it's only then that they started coming to the surface, but that didn't help at all, like I said they were Lure watching and not eating.  Was a great outing nevertheless.

Eventful as well, forgot the ducky's batt at home got a R200 fine for driving with garage plates, (only 480km's on the clock), long range tank didn't want to kick in etc. etc.

Will go there in December when it's reopened after the Spawning season and the temp's are up again....

BTW: Never seen such clear water, really ULTRA CLEAR!!!

Yes bass lake is closed during spawn and only opens on the 1ste of Nov again. But like LGF said the big ones are far down. We shaw a couple of beast and i had two come up close but NO take on the lure

Bass lake's Bass, (the Munsta's) are heartbreaking types of LGF.  You see them, they see you, you see your lure and so do they, you play the lure just enough to make them turn and look at the lure more and more, but they never take it so you don't score.

Just a thought on the LGF and when it's for a 5kg fish you suggest it becomes BGF, see it stays and LGF, diffs?

LGF = little green fish

LGF = Large Green Fish, (this however is posted like this Large GF)

I guess they can become HGF's and or MGF, or even WTFGF's and so forth, but I haven't been able to get to these yet........ some day soon.

About tomorrow, man I'm in serious pain from withdrawal sypmtoms, the last fish I caught was last week Friday and thats already 4 days ago, aaaaagggghhhh neeeed some of that contraband of MJ to sooth the pain.......

No seriously now, I too have to get to water real soon to ensure my sanity, but I infortunatly have to take the Cruiser in for rubberrising and have to be there at 14:30, smack bang in the middle of sports afternoon, yippeee ka jay..... so no hunting for me tomorrow, which means I'll have to get to water before the weekend if not then the weekend, maybe I can become very sick here at work on Wednesday and be booked off on thurs and fri.....
