Is anyone else not getting email notifications of

Is anyone else not getting email notifications of replies to their posts??

Mine seems to be sporadic, some I get, some I dont. I can't find a pattern to when it comes in or not, anyone else??

I could be wrong but when posting in the QUICK REPLY BOX one will not recieve a notification email. I sure havnt. Although on the flip side, when hitting the REPLY button, emails then get sent.

Neither do i get any email notifications.

i sometime think -how come no members is logged on to the site or no members is answering or giving their 2Cents.

I have just recieved a mail notification but in my e-mail, but the sealine mailbox says no new messages.
I was expecting a pm so im sure there is a problem.
Any suggestions?

Maybe this will help.

You must have email notifications enabled in your profile in order to get notified of replies to your post.

Also, as stated before. if you use the quick reply function, you do not get subscribed to a thread, so you will not be notified of replies.

I suspect if you get a notification for a private message, and it is not there by the time you get there, that the sender has probably changed his mind and deleted the message from his outbox. I dont know how the sealine forum software does it, but phpBB has that functionality where you can delete a PM after you sent it.

Hi LOAMS thanks for the info. I think that there must be some glitch with the system as Im sure that the person sending the PM is keen to give me the info required. Im looking at buying his boat.
