i have the same boat and also looked for the same thing. isnt available anywhere. i was given an idea of using marine ply and cutting it to size so you have a solid floor board.

I still have to buy the boat ;)
The answer to my question will point me into the direction of wheather I should go for the SeaHawk (but then I NEED to get a solid base for it), or should I take out R1300 extra and go for the Mariner? ...
If a solid base for the SeaHawk is gonna cost me R500 or more, then I can just as well go for the Mariner ... WHAt to doooo...what to dooo... :?

Sonix, if you're interested, I will be getting some inflatables from Jhb, for around R3500 each. Mini version of a rubber duck, with hard floor, with a built-in dry compartment, backboard to mount trolling motor onto... Unfortunately it will only be released the second week in Feb. PM me if you're interested and I can put you in contact with the person who will be selling them up in Jhb.

Madcarper ...thanx for the info, but I'm looking for something between R2000 - R3000 ... that's why I'm looking at the SeaHawk, and the Mariner .. ;)

I have seen a guy fishing with home made plate on sea hawk.

Bear in mind that every time you take the boat in, there  must be 2 people in it (one in front one on the back) otherwise it does not balance.
