Well where to start. We left Pretoria at 11:00 on Friday and 6 hours later we arrived at Injaka dam and all I can say is wow. That place is full of standing timber. Well we unpacked and decided to start getting our stuff ready. Got on the water on got to our first spot and you cannot believe the amount of structure on that dam. Anything you can think of. From standing timber to a lot of brush piles to rock islands to rip raps to whatever you can think of. We landed some nice fish and I landed a 1.6kg that according to rumors was the biggest fish for the weekend but we will wait till the next club meeting to verify. I am sorry if I don’t say too much of the weekend. But please understand that this was a pre fish for divisionals for Gauteng North and I don’t want to let out to much info just in case somebody sees this that might also be fishing against us. After divisional I will let out all secrets of the dams we fish.
