That's the thing - almost too good to be true. They'll be very heavy on the juice though. Decisions, decisions ...

Hiya

For what application are you considering this vessel?

As a commercial fishing vessel, the 25' Cape Craft is THE best in its size class. It can handle rough sea's and carry a HUGE load of fish. For a commercial looking for load carrying capacity, very little comes close. The downsides, they are quite heavy and thus require large motors to push them, which means large fuel bills. Due to the weight of the vessel, legally you'll also need a very specific tow vehicle.

If its for recreational fishing, rather look at other options. That vessel, with 2x200hp 2 strokes will set you back anything from 400-500ltrs of fuel per tuna trip. They're also very wet boat and do 'bang' quite a bit when empty.  Even though its on a trailer, towing is not going to be fun!! Launching is also not going to be that easy, especially at places like Millers or OPBC when its spring low.........

I owned a 23.5' Cape Craft, pretty much the same hull as the photo above. Blew the head gasket on my Hilux 4x4 on 2 occations, trying to pull it over Constancia neck.

Happy shopping!!
