Seven of us went through to infanta for a fishing weekend. The first group of three went earlier and went fishing for only about an hour and a half about 500m inward from the mouth. They caught one +-60cm grunter and a few smaller white steenbras and stumpnose on mud prawn. The next morning our whole group went again and caught smaller grunter, stumpnose and a big sandshark and skate again on mud prawn. In the afternoon we pumped pink and mud prawn. We caught another big grunter, a moonie and more smaller fish. The next morning was a dud.
All in all it was a successful weekend of fishing with two decent sized grunters taken home to braai.
