Indigo Stealth 430V

Hi,

Need advice.

I have a Stealth 430 V fitted with 2 x 30Hp 4 Stroke Suzuki motors. (Less than 10 hrs on clock)

The motors are running perfectly, but is very slow/sluggish to get the boat out the hole. Runs 60 to 100m to get on plane...

Anyone that can advise on this?

Regards

Does the boat porpoise on the plane? A friend had a similar issue but with a single DF60. He fitted wedges. Problem solved. I seem to remember something about them having a very steep transom angle.

Hi Sahara.

You could check the following aspects:

Is the hull water-logged or anything else adding weight to your rig?

What is the current propellor pitch?
Reducing the propellor pitch will give you better hole-shot but reduce your top speed.

And lastly, is the trailer still attached to the vessel after the launch? ;)
