my boet and i fished inanda a week after the classic (last weekend that is) and he caught a fish of 3.3kg!
there were only 4 fish over three kilo's caught during the classic...we fish off fishing skis so cant enter (no livewell etc etc etc)
anyway...
as robfisher's report said...no definate pattern hey, but we caught 4 keepers in no time and then NOTHING.
crankbait bite is still on:):)
goin this pm again after varsity

I tend to disagree. There was a pattern. And the patter remained the same for the two days. Well people we know fished inanda the weekend before the classic. So they did not participate in the classic. And they said after the classic that the pattern we got was the say as what they were using and fishing

well went yday again and picked up 3 fish...2 on my trusty crankbait and one on a jig. was trying new spots and seeing if a potential winter pattern has started...good news is that it hasn't:)SHOOOo. water still very warm and fish coming out off points.but its not fast and furious stuff. Nagle def fishing better at the moment.

what pattern were the fish feeding to during the classic then??

i was fishing points and smaller bays and found fish suspended sort of mid-bay and right at last light the shallows erupt with activity of feeding bass...just when its time to leave:(

I was fishing a 5” green pumpkin senko with the tail spiked in chartreuse spike it on a small texas rig. Danie was fishing a 4” green pumpkin senko also with the tail spiked in chartreuse spike it also on a small texas rig. That’s what we used the whole weekend

I found that when i fish a senko, i fish it on a carollina rig, very very slowly!!! but thats just me, carollina is the rig i feel most confident with when i catch plastics, dont know why. probably coz i have no idea how to make a texas rig...hahaha.
