No pro. Sorry only saw your q now. The technium medium really is a very nice casting rod. One thing that I am going to do with mine is have the evs grip worked down and covered with shrinkrap. The grip is to thick for my licking and makes the rod feel unnecessary bulky. I would go with a fathom 30 with the medium for eds and the 40 for big eds and non eds. I got mine for R1800 but I think they have gone up in price. I fish mine with a totally pimped and magged tld star 15/30 with speedmaster gears and it casts FLIPPEN far!!! I would like to try out the Poseidon hmg medium still to compare but at 3K and very close in action and weight to the Technium I didnt struggle to much to make my choice.

I have the fathom 40... will use it for the eds. The Cedros will be to target the bigger teethers

Best price i could get in CT was abt R2280 for the technium. Cheaper up country but i could get the cedros far cheaper in CT than up country

couldnt find suppliers for the finnor lethal ltc30. wouldve loved to have a feel and look at it in my hands.
