when im not i ll be sneaking around this site,some good info and techniques on fish species that will work well here in australia,,especially the cob (called mulloway/jewfish here).In particular cob on various lures as i target them here myself from beaches,,cool site,,cheers


Heres a couple of yellowtail kingfish caught on poppers,,the fish box is 1.2meters

Out of curiosity, what rod & reel are you using, Post 2?

cheers koper,
The rod is a 10 foot shimano tiralejo and the reel is a bitsa,saltist 20 with paint stripped,saltiga freespool switch which fit straight on(original switch snapped,cheap plastic) trinidad 16 handle fit straight on,i like the trini handle knob,spool bearings replaced with ceramic hybrids,love this reel it has thousands of fish to its name and doesnt look like it will die for a long time yet

Bwah, makes sense now, couldn't figure out the reel, so from there the general question:fbash

all good koper ive been asked that question a few times before,,heres a saltist 30h with the same treatment except upgraded drag washers aswell,and saltiga 50 handle
