I heard a rumor that the Kosi bay classic will not be taking place this year....
Just coming back from Bhanga neck this easter weekend and discussing this with a few angling buddies over a few cold ones, we somehow got the revelation of testing your thought on organising an artificial lure only classic on the kosi bay lakes, maybe early december 2009 or easter weekend 2010.

Some thoughts and formats....
- Catch & release only [/*]
- Only live fish of legal size limit to qualify [/*]
- Artificial lures only [/*]
- Trolling allowed [/*]
- Fish length to count, not weight [/*]
- Points allowcated per specie "weighed" in [/*]
- Only your biggest fish per specie to count, but weigh in as many as you want, all data can be given to KZN wildlife to do whatever they do with it? [/*]
- Limit 50 boats [/*]
- Biggest fish per specie wins something, eg. Riversnapper, Pick handle, Big eye king, Springer, perch.......ect...please add to this list if you have caught it on lure [/*]
- Overall winner with most points[/*]
