I have been following the saga about camping at Meerhoff, and because my son and I want to go there over the last weekend in Novenber, I decided to phone Clem Pretorius to find out about camping at Meerhoff.
The outcome of the phone call is that camping is still allowed, but only over weekends.
This is as a result of the thefts that occured, mainly during the week when the resort had limited occupation of the campsites.
I was also informed, by Clem, that about half of the gang responsible for the thefts had been caught and "severely reprimanded", you can make your own conclusions from that statement.
