During December 2008 the caretaker of the Waves told me that there is a guy who comes there and catches big mussel crackers on prawns, in front of the house.

Now I see that he was not pulling my leg, but sure it sounded to me like a fisherman's story at the time.

Thanx for all the compliments okes but before my two little ones came along I used to spend a rediculous amount of time fishing so you are going to get lucky, anyone would. Now you have to kind of make a special plan....thats why I have to take "clients" fishing often during work hours! (not the best fishing hours though but better than nothing)

@Gogo, ja that is Keurbooms just left of the white house where the rocks begin. I don't target the crackers there but end of october and whole november you catch them often fishing for steenies, same story at natures and buffels bay as well. just around the corner is a good spot to target crackers most of the year. (klein blou bankies.) most of my crackers are caught at Nature's.

I'm actually worried about the weather reports of snow and cold, coming your way.

You could call him Uncle Cracker too. When his lighties are up to speed you okes in that area are going to suffer. Imagine three fishermen of that calibre. Buy Boats!!!!!
