What to do if your fish's actual weight differs significantly from the weight returned by the conversion?
If you do catch a fish that you are able to both measure and weigh, and the returned weight differs substantially from the actual weight? Let us know! As mentioned - the more data we have available, the more accurate the returned weights can be. Tell us about it in an e-mail to chris.shoreangling@gmail.com.

- Don't use any spaces in your sms.
- For non-edible species, specify the sex of the species by an f (for female) or m (for male) in brackets after the species name. If you don't specify the sex, the weight for the female of the species will be returned (for species with different conversions for the different sexes).
- Quote the length in cm.
- Decimals should be separated by a full stop (.)
- Over 1000 common English or Afrikaans species names are recognized .
- You can use upper or lower case or both in your sms.
