Rather keep on driving down the coast till you reach Port St Johns - will be better there for decent in-eds and some Kob.

Coming up soon - the next 6-8 weeks the sards will hopefully make an appearance - then the fishing will be good on the south coast.

The Kob should be starting to make an appearance on the south coast (Sandspit) as well as PSJ. The Garrick should also be starting to come out here and there.

@ Maestro - the scratch fish on Mnyameni should be getting better and better now as we head towards winter?
Good sized Rockcod, Bronze Bream, Cave Bass, Black Tail, Kob etc...

100% correct..winter is def the best time 4 eds down there, the bronze brim & black tail were bigger on the last trip..down that area is def a better bet being approx 3hrs from dbn..fishing is also picking up at sandspit, i picked up a kob there last week while other guys got some huge grunter,a friend got 2 garrick off the light house as well..some shad also came out at orange rocks early morning and Leisure bay had only small fish

Potweni = Oslo beach, the rocks in front of UGU - you will see it is about 200m North of where the rocks start.

The Block = The lighthouse in Port Shepstone

Stebel - Umzumbe - just South of Umzumbe Beach (known as Umzumbe Flats)

Sorry that I don't have the co-ords for you - I am sure there are some Saliners from that area who will join you if you wanna go there.

The deepest point on the entire south coast is Ladder Rocks in Glenmore - also the most dangerous!

Another good spot but also dangerous from a security point of view is Turton - Kings Rock.

There are so many good spots on the south coast that you can try for sharks. I would list a few more:

Umdoni - Pennington
The Gully - Park Rynnie
Station/Blue Rocks - Park Rynnie
Ladder Rock - Lesuire Bay (be carefull here)
Southbroome Point - Southbroome
Sherly Avenue - Southbroome

The list goes on. If i had to bank on a shrk at this time of the year I think I would go to Ladder Rock (it is by far the deepest) where you can catch anything, but I would try and target the hammers that might still be arround (it is getting a little late for them). You also might still run into the hound sharks which you will get on most points between margate and port edward.

My 10 cents worth.

Scottburgh point (before/at sunrise) with live shad:Garrick, Couta and Kings (spoon!)
Umdoni false point (at golf course entrance) - nice KOB and in-eds. For fun, plenty of bonefish (up to 3 kg)
Scottburgh (in front of Cutty Sark) - nice Salmon (Kob) in the evening
Scottburgh Black Rocks -Good catches of Shad and some Garrick
Sezela - nice kings on spoon (during sardine run and after), kings on live bait (shad, karenteen)
