Halco roosta
Rip tide opening night DS in fluke or paddletail
Rip tide pearl with black fleck minnow
Onde onda sardine or purple

Rapala sub walk and skitter walks are also great lures.

Paddletails 4"-6" - 1x Cob & 2x Shad (Marine Drive)
"Fake" Onda Onde - 1x Cob (Swartkops) Color has come off now.
2 x Bucktails - Nothing caught yet...
Clone Black - Nothing caught yet...
Double Slim Spoon (Alcocks) - 2x Shad (Marine Drive)
Strike Pro - Nothing caught yet...
Rapala X-Rap (Red/White) - Still learning to walk the dog...

I must say the lure fishing is addictive, but i don't have as much time as Smiley to hit the water unfortunetly.

nice topic smiley.. my fav elf/shad catcher when spinning.. forgot the name.. if you come across it take one.

dont know what they cost nowadays but this one is green which has been succesful for me in the past.. also in red and white or was back then.. will see if i have pics of the others

Storm flutter stick
Rapala subwalk
Any well designed plug
Rapala longcast
Hopkins. Original
Bagleys finger mullet
Mirror lure
Chug bug.

And if there was one lure you needed for survival it would be a rapala x-walk 9cm. If you were ever trapped on the swartkops for weeks or even months its the only lure where you can catch fish and seagulls to chow

Funny you say that Spin! I've always said if birds go after a lure you know the action is deadly! My yozuri slider has had numerous gulls and gannets and cormorants go after it.

4" orca paddle tail is buy far my all-time favourite
My next best is my old rapala magnem floating
Then my strike pro
My buck tails
My xwrap walk just wish I could catch something with it

I started lure angling in estuaries not too long ago. Currently my lure collection is waaaaayyyyy bigger than my tally of lure caught fish. I list the lures that have worked for me and the species of fish caught on each.

Strike pro tai stick: garrick
Strike pro magic minnow: garrick, cape moonie, cape stumpnose and cuttlefish
Spoon: garrick and shad
Sensation dropshot: garrick
Jarvis and Walker razorback: cuttlefish (and had a garrick grab it once)

My goal for summer is to catch garrick on Storm's chug bug and flutterstick. A kobbie on bucktail or dropshot wouldn't be bad either...

Cobbie is one of the easier fish I rate the first lure I always throw is my 4" orca paddle tail the lightest head you can you but still keep in contact with and get it down to the bottom drag the lure along the ground give it a few twitches along the way you can't go to slow for cobbie I reckon

hahahaha , smiley i am in a 10 step program lol. no more buying for awhile but there is no good tackle shops on the island so in this case the saying "less is more" does not apply.

i can send you dimensions for zara spook , i only have the super spook not the normal small spook.
