i have used slide dont worry about my equipment what bait where to put your bait and i live in mtunizi by the umlalazi river mouth
Hennie you don't get Raggies in Mtunzini! What you do is get some 20/0 hooks,some 250lb wire,a non return and make a slide trace.Next load your reel with some 6lb line,and 1.5mm wind on leader.You must throw a 10oz sinker atleast 150m other wise you won't get a bite.The slide a whole 2kg Bonito out.tight lines.Oh and fill in your location bud..

Heya Misguide.Ok you do get Raggies at Mtunzini and Tugela i agree.But they are very rarely caught.Best time for them are August,October.And i've noticed at that time off the year,the best baits for them are those huge mullets.Also got to agree with you,at Mtunzini you more likely to get a Zambezi,but more likely at night.Im sure the water must be really clean now!
