Eish - the other night i was laying in bed busy on my phone (checking out the forum). My wife asked me what i am doing. So without hesitation i replied - Checking out Porn.

She said - oh - u must be on your fishing forum again - turned and slept

But in her favour - i must say - she took me to WA last week to buy a new rod (my fathers day gift)- and looks forward to the weather clearing so that we can go fishing again (maybe its cos its the only time i let her braai and set the tent up all on her own) LOL!!!

That is one place were I am right at home, in the s$%^t. Was almost single after the last Black Pylie Quest and might be after this one.

Tried teaching her, but all that happend is that my rods keep getting a new boss.

Got married, went on 2 x 4 months deployments, got home and left to Henties for fishing got back and the next month went to a World Angling Champs in Europe, got back went on DEfence Angling Nationals, Got home and the house was empty - Never realised the new bumper sticker I got was actually a warning:

My wife told me to choose between Fishing and Her
HELL I'm GOING TO MISS HER

Met a lovely woman who fishes hard, understands my passion and addiction to fishing.

But as Trophy says, keep your shares hiogh at home, make time when the fish aren't biting to keep her happy, small surprise here and there, mow the lawn, prune the trees, fix the leaking taps and spoil her every now and then - She'll feel to guilty to stop you going fishing

Yip, ex Fiance was very keen on us buying a hellishly expensive new house, I could not see the point as we have a nice place....meanwhile I had sneakily already ordered a new boat,she found out when The guy came to collect the old boat...needless to say she disagreed with my thinking so she had to leave. But things happen for a reason and the new Ms Shag is a bit more understanding...
