How is Fishing in Richard bay lately ?

Please can anyone tell me how the fishing has been in RB lately and where the fish has been coming out.

In the canal the Grunter are full up , seen fish up to 6kgs come out and lost of guys reporting catches, the piers are working well with kingfish , shad, and other species, further noth Mhlabane salmon and pompano are biting, little activity from the flat fish, kk

Yes i was looking more at the Mapilane area. do you have a info for me on that side of the world?

have heard nothing about Mapelane, did not really ask about it , so could not tell you much

o ok because we are planning to come down there this weekend. but is there nothing happening then it will be a wast to drive all that way for nothing.

this time of year at mapelane, the eds are full up , kingfish, pompano and other reef species, noneds,blackfin should make an appearence

if you are lucky enough to fish south pier, about 250m down the beach, here they are catching nice kob there

the guy i know only targets eds, i will give him a buzz and try and find out. but i recon it should produce some nice sharks. the beauty of this pozzy is that you have the harbour mouth on your left and the river/lagoon to your right. only fished the point and first little sandy cove in the harbour side, will be hitting the new spot in april.
