Homemade lure.

Wow, that almost seems unfair. Soon there wont be any skill left in fishing. Lol

Very clever though. Are you going to try making one Tauruck?

It's wired like any "jointed" lure but with loops top and bottom instead of a single.

I have this online buddy in Holland that started a lure company based on jointed swimbaits.

I think JP makes some really nice stuff.

The hand carves work well.

JP caught a nice fish of his swimbait.

Hi, well i must admit i tried handmaking the swimbaits, its very dificult because you have to bend highly tensile wire for the hinges and then you need to make a mould for the actual fish. I tried using Pratley Putty to mould the lure.

My first and only prototype was awesome with some good movement. unfortunately it broke, and i havnt tried the second one purely because of time

Willie is a good guy and I think when he's up and running he'll surprise a few people.

I've watched your video over and over. Too cool.

We could all learn a lot from you, thanks for joining.

I'm cool. Check your PM.

Rob, JR has the thing waxed.

That swimbait is only short of a beating heart.

I'd love to see it work some serious fish off the east coast.

Must work.

Maybe you, Swagman and I can do something along the lines of a "Joint" effort.

That would be cool.

Three heads are better than one.

We need to source a material to make fins from  because the stuff the fly fishing okes use is too expensive.

What fish do you think we should copy/build?

Tauruck. I'm in. I will try and source the stuff that JR is using for the fins. There are some videos on the way from JR where he covers his whole process. Can't wait for it to arive. I've got a pic of the hinging system.
I suppose a shad or one of the other bait fish is the way to go.
What do you say Klipdrift, are you in?
