A few yellowtail came out off Mbolompo a week or so back and also a bit north of HITW. Couldnt even try to spell the places name. Damn Xhosas should call places english names.
The Queen always a good option but dangerous if you dont know the area, but experinced guys always around. Black rock also good.
Mapuzi etc also a short drive away and the sharks are always plentiful around that part of the coast.

We take sards, chokka and mackral every year. Get some live bait there and fish for cob and steenbras.
Use some slides with mackral off southern point of black rock. Make sure kit is in good working order! Its about 1-2km north of hotel.
Also crayfish for steenbras at same place. Chokka also produces cob in the actual hole if water is brown.
Other places are Little Danger in bay to left of hotel.
Make sure you try Umtata River mouuth north of Coffee Bay

I dont know about hole in teh wall , but as you go through via Coffee bay , At the taxi rank there on teh right you will see a Tuckshop ( Wendy house ) ,
i think the guys name is Johan , he Keeps bait .
As for Coffee bay , carry Sards & chokka .
Mussles & crayfish are plentiful there , the locals will sell you Crays for R10 each - Cray season is currently Closed .

Just been that way Lenny... don't rely on ANYTHING in this neck of the woods. Bait sold in the area is, at best, suspect, unless it's freshly caught local species. So to avoid disappointment, you need to carry whatever you need. Same goes for daily provisions... tuchshops unreliable.

At night we never ventured far from the hotel (2 of us), we fished on the rocks to the right of the bay in front of the Hotel, had some good fun with lessers and some huge blacktails on light tackle - fish in betwen the outgoing tide (+-3 hrs) and incoming tide (+- 3 hrs)
