Hiya, ANyone know if there are bass in this dam

Don't know first-hand - also never heard of any rumours about Bass there either, BUT I suppose its possible given the location of the dam and the presence of Bass in surrounding areas ...

If you find out, do let me know too!

Roodeplaat is upstream so there is probs a good chance - fishing artlure leauge there on Saturday - hope the sun comes out

I wanted to go to Roodeplaat on Sunday, but they don't allow any boats on the dam.

I think Klipvoor is below Roodekopjes, not Roodeplaat. Last time I was at Roodekopjes we caught a moerse tan and a catfish. It used to be an awesome venue for bass, but not any more.

Klipvoor is definately below Roodeplaat below Klipvoor it joins the crocodile - Roodekoppies is upstream of this Junction.

And this is my 2Bob,
Klipvoor is moes supplied by the Moretele River, and meets with the rivers from Brits side and the Toloane river just outside the Nature Reserve (Around Klipvoor Stad or Ga-Rasai), and as far as I know they don't allow Boats

We got special permission to use boats - aren't we lucky.....LOL
Thanks for the google image - you will see Roodeplaat flows down to Kilpvoor.
Still no answer on the Bass?
