Hillside Golf course Bass Fishing

Does anyone know how to Fish this place? I was there today paid R50 was there for about an hour and half just to test it out and found the dam is very deep (8-9m)? Still new to Bassing so that depth is a question mark to me.

Another question: The guys that were there caught tiny bass with earth worms. Does this effect catching with artificial or not?:?

Im not into bassing but have dived a few quarries and seen bass feeding at 12-15m so I don't think the depth should be an issue at all. Generally spot them hugging against the ledges

I was there at Hillside Golf course dam again today and Nothing worked, saw a few bass feeding on top water but nothing I threw at them worked. Just looks like they are over fed. The guy that works there said that all the shit (Figuretivley) like fat from KFC,SPUR etc. from the next door shopping center goes into the dam.
