Hi to all the langebaan anglers,can anyone give some feedback on the conditions at Langebaan? Heard a few guys saying that the lagoon temp.was over 20 degrees the last month or two and the only thing biting from the side were sealice and the odd smoothie!Is this still the case or have things changed lately?

Oom Daisy waar is die report of is daar niks om op te report nie?

South easter has been pumping the last few days. Nothing much seems to happening from the "palletjies to spit", just millions of kite-surfers. I believe there were a few "kolstert" caught at the spreeuwalle over the weekend. Off the boat,kob to be had down in the corner at spreeuwalle/harbour jetty, much have lots of "chum" and expect a bummpy and wet ride home. Up at the "lyn" small elf and the odd geelbek are been caught in the evenings on a changing tide.

So it could be worth putting out a fish bait from the rocks south of the yacht club. Looks like the forecast for the weekend is that the wind will be pumping on Saturday but Sunday looks much better

But let's wait for Oom Daisy's report, It can't be that far away..................

Ek en Ray het nou net teruggekeer van die Baan. Het so 10:00 begin by die spit, water was warm toe word dit so 12:00 koud en die wind tel op na n redelike SW...kitesurfers begin lastig word. Iemand lanks ons het n paar klein Stompe geland.

Ons skuif to na die vloot slip se kant...water nog net so koud...om ons vang almal klein Stompe...maar een local loop so 15:00 verby ons met 3 bulle...gevang tussen die vloot jetty en slip. Pak 16:00 op sonder n trek die hele dag...!!!

THE WIFE WANTS TO KNOW IF WE CAN COME FOR A BRAAI ON SATERDAY?I HAVE SOME FRESH ONES THAT NEEDS TO BE EATEN OR WE CAN BRING SOME BACK FROM OUR TRIP...BUT SURE SHE WILL SPEAK TO YOUR WIFE TODAY.

PACK HEAVY AND LITE ,AND PACK THE WARM CLOTHES ASWELL AND THE HEADLAMP.WILL BE BY YOU AFTER WORK,JUST NEED TO DROP THE SIDEKICK FIRST,BUT PACKING MY STUF TONINGHT!!!SO AFTER WORK WE ARE OFF

My deepfreeze is also full after Arniston, but we have been invited somewhere on Sat already. Maybe Sun lunch. Will ph u b4 tomorrow evening.
