hi there guyes

i'm interested to here if any one had good tuna last week? just before th storm hit? we went out on the Thursday and got 17 longfin and no sign of Yellowfin?! we were fishing in the canyon area of Cape Point.

I'm hopping that after this big storm there will be alot of Debry in the water in the deep in hopes of hooking a Dorado or two!

give me a shout if you guyes are going out anytime soon and let me no how you guyes did! i will gladly do the same.

We went to see on Saterday (sorry for the late up date had no internet!) and we caught 3 Yellowfin of about 50-60kg's a small one of about 15kg's and about 12-13 longfin all of which were under 10kg's. How ever we didn't do as well as Miles, he had about 7 Yellows i think they ere also in the 50-60kg class.

if i remeber correctly alot of these fish were caught on the "24 on the straight" area. behind the stern Trawllers and a couple simply in the middle of nowere on the bait.

it looks like we will go again on Tuesday (tommorow)

Hi.......sorry for the very late reply. We ended with 8 yellowes in the 50 - 70 kg class and 20 longs which avrg out at 22kgs:wfish. Also heard about the fish on the 24 : 00, but we fished way south on the 48:12. Got a moerse hiding coming back to HTB in 20knts NW. :fbashWas on the 26:55 the weekend......bit poor. Ended with 5 yellows:fswim. To many comp. boats revving in the chummlines.

howzit,

thats not to bad tho?! i take it you are a commercial? wats your boats name? i fish on Whale Rider from SimonsTown.

we were out again today and yet another poor day out in the deep. we had a strike of 4 longfin of about 1okg's and then baited and we managed to pull up another two smaller Longgies of about 3 and 5 kg's. i was to busy baiting and clearing lines as well as pulling fish to take the coordinates sorry guyes..

it looks as if this maybe the end of the tunnie season.... but lets be optimistic and hope as only us fisherman can that we get at least two more good trips!^^..
