I'm sorry Enigma but as an old Rondebosch boy, I simply cannot believe that a school like Fish hoek could ever have beaten RBHS. Really bru, but thats like something out of Alice in Wonderland....

::teas::::rofl::lol:1

That's why I say it was my most memorable sport year ever. We won that game 16-15 and I got a cracked cheekbone to top it and the reason I remember the score so well is I scored the winning try in the final play of the game, push over try and I got the ball down on the line "ON THE LINE" every other game I played against RBH we were on the loosing end.

@ Arrie, well done bud, EP is like a brother in jail to me, I really love them, but can't say that out loud in public.

About the shoulder, I think many okes playing with or against Domkrag were bust up.

In about 1981/2, I played for Cotswold Primary (std 3). We were unbeaten for the season with a season score of +-275 for, and about 67 against. Which school were you in ?

LOL! Definitely one for the record books!

By the way, what year was that? I do seem to remember one of the rugby masters having a nervous breakdown..........LOL!

Played Hong Kong sevens in the 80's for Arabian Gulf - long time before the professional circuit. Culminated in Plate final vs USA - won 10-8! When the game was still smokes and beers at half time.

Then this is a very small world. I was in Cotswold Pre Primary and in Cotswold Primary. Finished St5 in 1985. My parents house was in Barton road Cotswold nr.60.

From there went to one of the best sporting schools in PE - Framesby 1986 - 1990.

Great school. Must say I often miss PE  - especially if all the family and school friends are still there.

it was gross and in bad taste (my bad), but please couldnt they find something better to do like complain about global warming or commercial fishing, seems a bit of a waste of effort to email admin about a kid with a snot nose, if you can gut a stone fish and clean your kids nappy, really how bad could that pic be, grow a smile and get over it,

it frightens me how dry and petty some people are, you live once use your time wisely and make the best of it, stop telling tales , i mean i didnt kill anyone,, yet ;)

reefer can you send me your details i need you to do some work on me, lost a tooth and broke another in half, ;) thanx bud

Thanks for the reply Arrie.

At that time Framesby was known for its Choir - not it's rugby, but I said that to someone else a while ago and he quickly informed me of how Framesby picked up in sport.

We left P.E. in 82. Went to primary school in Jhb in std 4.
At my first rugby practice they laughed at me with my toggs and after the first game I gave it up, the grass was too hard & sharp for me playing at 07H00 on a Saturday morning when the playing field was still covered with frost.

Would love to try and find some of the boys, Marcelle Brits, Emile Ras, Quentin, Jaco etc.

Tight lines.

P.S.
We lived in Buckland laan, Fernglen till my dad passed, then moved to Bellmore park flats before we came to Jozi.
Spent every weekend at the Willows, my uncle was the big cheese at the Regional services council at the time.
