Hi guys

Unfortunately I came across this little guy too late - the security guard had already "bravely defended" himself by crushing its head. Found just outside PE, near Coega harbour.

Can anyone ID this snake? I suspect its harmless (and told the guard that it is) but would like an ID to satisfy my curiosity.

Thanks guys, thought it was a type a house snake. Can sh!t myself when people kill anything and everything that doesn't use batteries!!
